Livelihood Promotion of Small Scale Producers

The organization supports small-scale farmers, livestock rearers, and fishers in transitioning to sustainable, income-generating practices that strengthen household economies. For farmers, we provide comprehensive training in organic farming methods, bio-input production, and soil health management, complemented by guidance on proven practices and improved production techniques. We facilitate Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) formation to help farmer’s access better markets, reduce input costs, and amplify their collective voice. For livestock rearers, we offer similar capacity-building support alongside crucial health interventions such as vaccination camps and veterinary guidance to ensure animal well-being and productivity. For small-scale fishers, we provide technical support in sustainable fishing practices, post-harvest management, and value addition techniques—with particular emphasis on empowering fisher women to participate actively in income generation and decision-making. Through this integrated approach—combining technical knowledge, institutional strengthening, health support, and gender-sensitive empowerment—small-scale farmers, livestock rearers, and fishers gain the tools and confidence to enhance their household income sustainably and build resilient livelihoods rooted in their own resources and community strengths.
