Our work prioritises practical, measurableoutcomes—higher household incomes, better nutrition, improvedskills, and resilient local institutions—built on localknowledge and priorities.

Core Thematic Interventions

Women’s leadership and economic participation:

Training in leadership, financial and land literacy, and enterprise support to help women lead local initiatives and household enterprises.

Livelihood promotion:

Support for small and marginal farmers, fishers, artisans and other rural households through skill-building, input support, and market linkages to increase and stabilise incomes.

Organic Farming

Promotion of sustainable farming practices such as composting, seed conservation, crop diversification, and low-input methods to improve soil health and long-term productivity.

Early childhood learning:

Pre-primary centres that provide safe, stimulating early learning experiences to prepare children for school and enhance caregiver engagement.

Institution building and collective enterprises:

Formation and strengthening of Farmers Producer Organisations (FPOs) and women-led federations to enhance collective production, quality control, and market access.

Local governance support:

Capacity building to enable community members to engage constructively with local service providers and development programmes.

A storytelling platform featuring voices from rural communities to document experiences, share practical learning, and highlight local solutions.

Rural Tourism

Community-based tourism initiatives that generate supplementary income through homestays, local guides and craft sales while showcasing cultural and natural assets.

    Short-stay facility providing temporary shelter, counselling and linkages to services for women in need, with a focus on safe transition and livelihood planning.

  • Ankur

    Pre-primary learning centres offering early childhood education, nutrition support and caregiver engagement to improve school readiness.

  • FPC Support

    Technical and business support for Food Producer Companies: governance, value-chain development, quality systems and access to credit and markets.

  • Nutrition Gardens

    Household-level kitchen gardens that improve dietary diversity and access to fresh, chemical-free produce through organic methods.

  • Fisher Support

    Strengthening small-scale fishers through resource access, skill development, sustainable practices and better linkages to markets.

  • Vocational Training & SHG Strengthening

    Skill development in areas such as organic inputs, seed management, tailoring and traditional crafts, paired with financial literacy and enterprise support.

  • Agroecology Pilots

    Demonstration plots and farmer-led experimentation in organic practices, bio-inputs and soil health to increase resilience and reduce input costs.

    Regular episodes that document individual journeys, local innovations and practical lessons, increasing local visibility and public understanding.

  • Rural Tourism Linkages

    Development of community-managed homestays, craft circuits and local experiences that create supplementary income and preserve cultural heritage.
